Birthday Celebration Foundation (BCF)

My beautiful daughter Laura and I loved to celebrate our birthday month. Both of us shared June as a celebration of our life and love.

Since Laura’s passing in 2018, I started sharing the joy I found in our family celebrations with others by paying it forward with a birthday cake! For example, I would love surprising people who ordered birthday cakes; they would come to the store to find their cake had already been paid for (by ME)! I’d enclose a card with my contact information, and it was such a joy to me to know I was a part of their celebrations and made them smile.  We all have one thing in common, and that is everyone has a birthday. So, each month, the Laura’s Birthday Celebration Foundation reaches out to help celebrate other people's birthdays; it is our way of making sure that everyone feels connected and celebrated. It’s our mission at Laura's BCF to celebrate with someone in need or alone or with an organization that could use a birthday celebration.

I bring the cake (or goodies if preferred) and balloons and spend an hour or so in companionship. If you would like us to help with YOUR birthday celebrations, you can nominate yourself or a friend or organization local to the Phoenix area!
